Key Specifications
About This Gear
It's rare to find a propane stove that can serve as a stand in for wood burning hot tent stoves, and Nu Way does just that. This durable propane stove is compact and provides reliable heat for cooking or warmth. The burner system allows you to adjust the heat output to reliably keep your tent warm for days.
Our Take
From our own trips, not from reviews
The Nu-Way earned its spot on the first cold trip we ran it: a small propane stove throwing enough heat to keep a canvas Springbar comfortable while the temperature outside slid below freezing. We run it as the communal hot tent stove on group trips.
The catch is the tent. This needs one built for a stove, with a stove jack and fire-resistant materials, and you follow the ventilation requirements exactly. A CO detector in the tent is not optional, ever. Some campgrounds prohibit stoves outright, so check before you count on it.
