Best Time to Camp at Burro Bridge

Summer is the sweet spot here. From late June through August, expect daytime highs between 60-75°F and nighttime lows in the 30s-40s. The elevation keeps things cool even in peak summer, and wildflowers along the river hit their stride in July. Afternoon thunderstorms roll through occasionally, so plan morning hikes when possible. Access outside summer can be dicey due to snow at this elevation, and the first-come setup means summer weekends fill early.
