Access is either by boating to Naha Bay and hiking 4 miles, or by floatplane to the trail at Heckman Lake and hiking 2 miles to the cabin. Jordan Lake is too small for most floatplanes, but some pilots will land there. In fall, winter and early spring, the cabin may be inaccessible due to frozen lake surface (floatplanes cannot land). Please contact the Ketchikan Misty Fjords Ranger District for information prior to making reservations during these periods.
