Pack mosquito repellent. The campground closes mid-October as snow arrives, which can blanket the ground from late fall through early spring. Daytime highs drop to around 40°F in winter, with nighttime lows hitting 20°F. Spring campers should expect muddy trails and lingering snowpack.
